I was able to get a copy of the project when it wasn't running, so that's now locally available. Unfortunately the non-licensed version of RSView32 does run for a limited time (2 hours) but what I didn't know was that it limits you to 35 tags.

Sounds like your project is corrupted, not RSView. Try opening another project that's known to be good. If you don't have a backup, you may have to recreate parts of it from scratch. You should be able to import parts of your old project bit by bit until the problem occurs.
